It means getting to know the customer, understanding his plans and goals, and positioning the product or service of the company as a part of business success. The paper seeks to point out that the business result of the company is the result of success and customer satisfaction. The overall economic and financial efficiency is viewed from the perspective of the ability to fulfill their needs and solve problems with their products or services. In the new sales concept, the company focuses on how its product or service can give the customer a new, additional value, and together with the buyer it is working to discover these potential benefits and values. The subject of the analysis is the efficiency of the business through the adoption of the concept of long-term interest shared with the buyer, which can be achieved thanks to the knowledge the company possesses and the resources, products and services it has. For a successful analysis, there is an example of banks where there is a gap between short-term goals in terms of financial performance and long-term strategic business positions.
