ZASTUPLJENOST ŽENA U SAMOUBILAČKOM TERORIZMU

У последње време је постала актуелна дебата о родној конвергенцији у кривичним областима, иако се много више мушкараца него жена и даље се бави криминалним активностима. У вези са учешћем жена у самоубилачким нападима, појавио се велики број публикација које истражују ову тему, што је допринело вредном, неинтегрисаном знању и ширењу у многим дисциплинама. Иако се мушкарци конвенционално и традиционално посматрају као вође оружаних побуна, жене данас све више постају кључно стратешко средство у домену самоубилачког тероризма. У раду ће се настојати да се превазиђу ова стереотипна приказивања, и испитају неки од структуралних услова који играју одлучујућу улогу код жена да се укључе у акте насиља. Женски самоубилачки напади су знатно смртоноснији од оних које спроводе мушкарци. Такође, сматрају се и нарочито шокантним, јер такви поступци нарушавају родне норме и стереотипе друштава из којих нападачи потичу. Учешће жена у тероризму кроз призму медија и креатора политике чини да изгледа као да је то новија појава, али историја показује да је њихово учешће било присутно од самих историјиских почетака.
