Abstract

We can say that the spectacle is more than present in our everyday life. It is not just a media, cultural or aesthetic phenomenon, but a principle/ form/ model of systematizing or organizing economy, politics and society, dispersed through mass cultural production into different spaces and into completely new places. This paper will offer theoretical disputation as a basis for its broader and deeper academic perception. This consideration, therefore, will be more concerned with Time and History, that is, alienation, than with the media and cultural dimensions that are the prevalent leitmotif of its understanding and analytical positioning.
