Abstract

In this work, we will try to conceptually define the sociological framework of the network society, the manipulative matrix of network warfare and the geopolitical context of cyberspace. We will try to present the techniques of manipulation and the character of network warfare ranging from the sociological to the military context and its possible victims. We will especially try to explain the essence of cyberspace, its synchronous ambivalence, that it is both virtual and real at the same time. We will also try to explain the reasons for constituting media geopolitics as a new scientific discipline.
