CONTEMPORARY RELATED CONFLICTS AS A FRUITOF GEOPOLITIC INDUCTED CONFLICT PARADIGM
Keywords:
religious conflicts, identities, geopolitics, religious fundamentalism, conflict potentialAbstract
We will primarily analyze conflicting potentials of religious-confessional identities in the Balkans and Europe, particularly important in the context of the activities of geopolitical interests which had led, directed and threatened to generate new conflicts in the future. The conflicting potential of these identities is much greater because they are deeper in the identity of the religious population, there is a much greater degree of identification with them and willingness to sacrifice for the big „truth” of religion.Religious fundamentalism is also an important factor that influences the radicalization of politics and enhances destructive conflict capacities, so a special attention will be paid to this phenomenology.
