MENTAL AND PHYSICAL HEALTH OF VICTIMS OF PARTNER VIOLENCE

This paper deals with Intimate Partner Domestic Violence (IPDV) and its impact on the mental and physical health of women. We gave an overview of the research on the mental and physical health of women victims of Intimate Partner Domestic Violence. Data from the survey indicate that women who are victims of violence are mainly affected by depression and post-traumatic stress disorder, as well as heightened anxiety.
