Abstract

As many times as word corruption is being repeated it keeps tracking attention of international community, public authorities, the public, NGOs and individuals in everyday life. In this article authors are trying to define corruption and its causes. The problem of corruption, especially is present in all global and local spheres of society since 1990, when many international organizations began to engage in political and economic activities of corruption, under the leadership of the United Nations and the World Bank. In this paper, the authors will try to give an overview of the basic and most common definition of corruption, as well as some international normative solutions and domestic legal framework.
