Abstract

The significance of political parties reaches wider than their basic functions. Namely, the party's significance is reflected in their social - political role which is being performed. Forming a complicated structure, resulting from complex intra-and inter-party relations, parties become basic platforms for constructing party systems. Party systems are one of the most important constituent elements of the political system, and some authors talk about their supranational functions, mentioning their role in building the party system in Parliament, such as the Parliament of the European Union, and the like.
