THE POSITION OF THE PEASANTRY IN VOJVODINA AFTER DEREGULATION MEASURES IN AGRICULTURE

Abstract

One of the main tasks set by the Communist Party of Yugoslavia when came to power, was to define social transformation of village. By this term it was assumed a change of the possession relating in village. Historic processes (agrarian reform, collectivization, ransom of agricultural goods) which were ended by 1953, our historiography mostly brought to light.

In this work the author has taken in consideration the position of peasantry in the territory of Vojvodina in the period from 1953 to 1957.
