Presented genesis of the theory of biopolitics and political strategy of power can be divided into periods, such as medieval, modern and contemporary in which prevailing knowledge as the main strategy of power. These theories are based on the relationship of life, politics and governance practices. Central role in the development of biopolitics and the new type of government are (1) a human body through the process of subjectivation and the subordination to the new authorities which are no longer based on religious beliefs, rather than on scientific knowledge and (2) the emergence of the population as a driver of the disposition of security through the process of normalization.
