ИСТОРИЈСКИ РАЗВОЈ КУРДИСТАНА

У визији курдског становништва, смештен је програм стварања сопствене државе, међународно признате, а у оквиру које би њихова култура, језик и традиција, нетипичне за остале блискоисточне народе, биле слободно испољаване. Тежиште рада почива на проучавању историјског процеса креирања идеје и саме творевине Курдистана, у хронолошког распону од 1918. године, са распадом Османског царства, упоредним посматрањем развоја политичко-друштвеног контекста Курдског питања које сеже до данашњих дана. На примеру Турске, претња по њен територијални интегритет оличена је у форми аутономног Курдистана на југоистоку државе, уколико се узме у обзир да највећи део курдске популације на Блиском Истоку насељава управо територију Турске и сагледају војни и политички покрети Курда на овом простору, окренути ка формирању јединствене државе курдске нације. Стога је, поређења ради, у краћим целинама обраћена пажња на положај и аутономију курдског становништва присутног у политичким границама Ирана и Ирака. Имајући у виду актуелна политичка дешавања и превирања на Блиском Истоку, суштина рада почива на историјској, демографској и политичкој процени претпоставке о стварању суверене и територијално независне државотворне тековине Курда, на територији Турске, Сирије или уопште на поменутом геостратешком блискоисточном региону.
