VOJNO-INDUSTRIJSKI KOMPLEKS KAO USMERAVAJUĆI FAKTOR SPOLJNE POLITIKE VELIKIH SILA

Период хладноратовског сучељавања изнедрио је појаву специфичне врсте везе између три кључна актера: државе, војске и одбрамбене индустрије. Заједничка синергија поменутих актера утиче на креирање повољног амбијента за истраживање и развој (енг. Research & Development, R&D) војно-индустријског комплекса. На даљи развој доминантног утицаја војно-индустријског комплекса на унутрашњу и спољну политичку динамику, утицао је процес глобализације и економске либерализације нарочито након распада Совјетског Савеза. Економски, политички и технолошки фактори ВИК добију нову димензију карактеристичну по изразитом протекционизму водећих произвођача и дистрибутера различитих врста система наоружања. Сходно томе тежња великих сила за очување доминантиних позиција на међународном тржишту наоружања један је од главних генератора агресивне спољне политике и мешања у унутрашње послове појединих држава чиме се потврђује полазна претпоставка овог рада, да војно-индустријски комплекс поседује предоминантан утицај на процес доношења одлука политичких званичника и тиме на званичан спољнополитички курс државе. Циљ овог рада јесте дескрипција свеприсутног економског, политичког и институционалног утицаја војно-индустријског комплекса на националну политику демократских држава (првенствено великих сила, Сједињених Америчких Држава и Руске Федерације) кроз свеобухватну анализу тренда раста буџетских трошкова за потребе одбрамбеног сектора.
