Abstract

Corporatism is the doctrine that in human history occurred several times with different political systems, ranging from medieval guild system and, over fascism until the present system of capitalism and neoliberalism. Although every time this form of organization obsolete, it came back stronger after a few years. This brings us to the present situation in the world that is characterized by distinct form of corporatism. Today's world is a world in which corporate power is in the hands of individuals or a small number of companies and beyond even the power of a number of countries. At the end of the century, which marked the culmination of the development of modern civilization, one is in a situation to look at the future with a lot of anguish and moral dilemmas.

Under the influence of globalization, an extremely important mechanism of corporatism, gradually break down the boundaries between countries, expanding the market, and increasingly question the sovereignty of the state. In addition, in the new model of social development, not only the sovereignty and the nation-state are also obstacles on the way to his goals. It is the creation of a global society where collectivism give way to individualism of interest, which leaves no room for the homogenization of national interests, especially in multicultural societies. In such processes of national identity becomes a kind of „security dilemma” in relations between the monoculture and therefore multicultural societies, and the interests of various stakeholders (cultural, political and economic) are the basis to establish a functional system, which has in the last few decades of the last century, received corporate character.

Understanding of the nature and of corporatism as its modern form, in general, requires a special understanding of the relationship philosophy between the interests of stakeholders in the new organization of society.
