У раду се анализирају основни теоријски концепти породичне (као својеврсни инструменти „конвертовања“ проблема у области породица у политичке мере усмерене на јачање породица), са фокусом на особености конзервативне и прогресивне породичне политике. Посебна пажња посвећена је бројним обрасцима породичне политике у интернационалној перспективи, као и могућностима конвергенције (мера) породичне политике у контексту високоиндустријализованих земаља.
