POLICIJA I RANJIVE DRUŠTVENE GRUPE U SRBIJI

Припадници етничких мањина, мањинског сексуалног опредељења, лица са посебним потребама, жене, деца и најстарији грађани представљају рањиве друштвене групе које су често предмет предрасуда и дискриминације. Уместо додатне заштите од стране полиције, те групе су често дискриминисане, при чему полиција само понавља обрасце дискриминације који већ постоје у друштву.
Однос полиције и рањивих друштвених група у Србији анализира се методом фокус-групног интервјуа. Интервјуи су реализовани кроз 13 округлих столова у подручним полицијским управама у Србији, којима су присуствовали припадници полиције и представници рањивих друштвених група.
Налази истраживања указују да, иако се ставови полиције полако мењају, мањинске групе још увек осећају да полиција према њима има предрасуде. Институције у Србији још увек немају одговарајућу стратегију за поступање са жртвама насиља које припадају мањинским групама. Поред проблема правне природе присутни су и културни стереотипи.
