KULTUROLOŠKA DIMENZIJA U ISTRAŽIVANJU I TRETMANU ZLOUPOTREBE PSIHOAKTIVNIH SUPSTANCI – UNAPREĐIVANJE KULTURNE KOMPETENCIJE

Рад је усмерен на анализу културолошке димензије употребе дрога и алкохола, при чему је вођен питањима као што су: шта су културне и идентитетске карактеристике злоупотребе супстанци у 21. веку и да ли се о њима може говорити у већ добро познатим теоријским и методолошким оквирима? У потрази за овим одговорима, који су изузетно значајни за терапеутску и социо-културну праксу у третману и рехабилитацији корисника (не)дозвољених супстанци, потребно је сагледати континуитет културног значења употребе алкохола и опојних супстанци кроз време, као и веома интензивну динамику промене културних, идентитетских и симболичких порука које оне носе у савременој култури. Унапређивање културне компетенције, као потребног знања и праксе, за обе стране у процесу, приказано је кроз рад Америчке здравствене организације и тима за унапређење третмана злоупотребе психоактивних супстанци. У том смислу рад представља предлог за увођење иновативнијих приступа у истраживању и третману корисника који ће бити усмерен на разумевање социокултурних аспеката њихових избора.
