LIVING UNDER A NEOLIBERAL PRESSURE: IS THERE A WAY OUT?

The change in the model of social organisation and behaviour is always prepared and accompanied by changes in the current cultural and ideological pattern – the ruling paradigm. As a rule, changes occur during large crises that result in changes in power relations. The focus of our analysis is the relation between (neo) liberalism - its ups and downs and crises from the 1930s and 1980s. The central research question and the dilemma is how the 2007/2008 crisis will further develop and whether we could develop a strategy that will stop the growth of social inequalities and the pyramidal power structure, both of which were the effect of globalisation carried out in a neoliberal key.
