GLOBALISATION AND THE STATE SOVEREIGNTY
Keywords:
globalization, sovereignty, state, authority, independenceAbstract
The theoretical structure of state sovereignty has always pointed out ideal of the existence of any state rather than a permanent and important feature of all forms of state organization. It may be noted that what is theoretically means sovereignty in different historical eras have different content and reach. Globalization as a process that shapes all aspects of modern socio-economic development necessarily causes a change in some of the basic characteristics of the instruments of national authorities. Instruments that necessarily suffer adaptation determine the essence of state sovereignty in a global society . Therefore, it can not be seen through the clasical theoretical constructions nowadays, because it is one of the terms of the legal and political theory that went through great evolution. Historical and contemporary experiences clearly show that it is a balance of power, and, therefore, it can be quantified.
