Abstract

On the basis of domestic and foreign press, interviews with participants in key events, domestic and foreign scholar literature and memoir books, documentaries, music and video recordings, this paper shows the use of rock and roll in the war between the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and NATO (1999), but also indicates complex position of Serbian rock and roll in the nineties: from counterculture against the government to military target of NATO.
