BIBLICAL (CHRISTIAN) CONCEPT OF PEACE

The study outlines the biblical concept of peace from the Christian perspective. After the etymological background of the term is outlined in the Hebrew, Greek and Latin format, the examples of understanding the peace as inherent to the actions of God and the historical existence of the creation are respectively being presented. The presentation is complemented by examples of early and later Christian reception, without which, as it is concluded, it is not possible to correctly establish the contours of the term and concept researched.
