Abstract

This article considers spiritual and historical foundations of Serbian identity as an important integral part of the world orthodox community. Resting upon the philosophical comprehension of historical, cultural and theological development of Serbia the author persists in his proposition that Serbian identity has its foundations in Christocentrical, hesychastic entity, he stresses the necessity of Serbia and Russia shared spiritual revival as an understanding of its own historical fortune and religious ”Itself”.
