ANALYSIS OF THE LEGISLATIVE OKVIRA- EMPLOYMENT OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES IN THE REPUBLIC OF SERBIA AND THE EU

The article analysis motivation and position of persons with disabilities toward employment in Republic of Serbia. Relevant data from legal analysis of existing normative acts were triangulated with qualitative researches results on persons with disabilities, its organisations and observations of researchers themselves. EU regulations relevant to this topic are also introduced and presented. Conclusion emerges that, even thou there are legal foundations for employment of persons with disabilities in Serbia, the state needs to put more effort to increase mechanisms for education and inclusion of persons with disabilities to the open market, as well as to other area of social and economic life.
