Abstract

The right to safety and protection of employees at work, apart from the right to fair remuneration, is one of the fundamental rights of all employees, regardless of where they work and who is working. However, if we look at employees as a separate category, especially the so-called. vulnerable categories - minors, pregnant women, new mothers, disabled persons, etc., the realization of the said right has constant obstacles in reality. Also, if look at separately jobs and individually assessed risks to the safety and health of employees in a particular workplace will note the complexity of the exercise of this fundamental right employee. The subject of analysis in this paper are the current challenges, the current status of the implementation of the right to security and safety of employees at work, as well as analysis of government action that their regulations allow employees a safe and healthy working environment. One of these is certainly the obligation of employers to carry out risk assessment for each individual workplace and adopt Risk Assessment Act in which will be recorded all the parameters related to a given position.
