VIOLENCE IN INTIMATE RELATIONSHIPS OF YOUNG PEOPLE
Keywords:
Violence, dating violence, youngAbstract
Violence in intimate relationships of young people is a phenomenon that in recent years significantly attracts the attention of the numerous author, as in criminology field, as well as from other scientific disciplines. High prevalence, significant direct consequences, as well as strong reflections in the direction of development of further victimogenic dispositions are subject of numerous theoretical and empirical studies. However, speaking at the national level, this phenomenon has not received well-deserved attention. A small number of scientific papers, as well as a clear lack of specific preventive programa in the community hence create the need to raise critical analysis of information presented in the relevant literature, and discover the possibilities of application of international preventive experiences in a local context.
