INFLUENCE OF MASS-MEDIA ON DEGRADATION OF CONTEMPORARY SOCIETY

In this paper, authors set groundwork for consideration of the state of contemporary society through prism of influence mass-media execute on contemporary society, and help its constant transformation. In the paper authors first scientifically determine terms of contemporary society, mass-media and social degradation, and then use the acquired mechanisms to analyze current state of society and media, their correlation, mechanisms of action of media on society and individuals, and confirm their initial theses, that the contemporary society is in the process of degradation, and that media of mass communication have dominant influence of the process of social decline which is undergoing and has global presence.
