EUROPEAN PARTIES ON EUROPEAN ELECTIONS

In this article, the author deals with the position and work of European political parties during the European Parliamentary elections in 2019. Firstly, the development of the European political scene has been analyzed in the period since the last elections, then the devoplment of the campaign and, ultimately, the results and consequences of the situation in which the parliament is far more plural than before. The conclusion is that true politics has returned to the European public sphere and that it has led to a greater exit and greater interest of European voters for these elections.
