Abstract

The author shall have the exclusive right to give permission or prohibit communication of his or her work to the public by wire or wireless means including the making available in such a way that member of the public may individually access the work from a place and at a time he or she chooses. This is one of the exclusive author’s rights of a recent date. Namely, due to technical im-provement, individuals can nowadays make their own choice when it comes to the content they want to use over their technical devices anywhere and anytime they choose. These communication systems are interactive media. By means of these media, individual that uses a computer connected to the Internet has the possibility to access various contents storaged in other computers. It is regulated by the Law on Copyright and Related Rights that author has exclusive right to allow any public communication of work by wire or wireless means including such communication to the public set that anyone can have access from a place and at a time they individually choose. Essentially, this right includes two types of communication processes on the Internet. One is public communication of a work of authorship by e-mail, while the other is related to uploading the copyright on the server where it is accessible to everyone anywhere and at any time.
