Abstract

Money laundering is a phenomenon does not occur in isolation from other socially damaging phenomenon. Criminal organizations, groups and individuals are constantly inventing new modes for the legalization of proceeds in criminal activities. The inclusion of illegally obtained income in the legal financial flows not only undermines the economic and monetary system, but it undermines political stability and security of the country, and makes an impact on social relations at the national and international level. The work was created with the purpose of indicating the need for increased focus on preventing and combating money laundering by members of all bodies and institutions whose basis or, in turn, makes the function of supporting the fight against crime. This paper presents the concept of money laundering as a global problem, they also analyze the effects of laundering money from the economic, security, social and political aspects.
