Abstract

Non-international armed conflict is a notion of the International Public Law i.e. International Humanitarian Law with no single and unitary legal norm definition. Broad scope of norms regulates rights and obligations of parties involved in the non-international armed conflict, producing thus ground for establishing the notion. Statutes of international criminal tribunals and courts recognise war crimes in non-international armed conflict which give courts opportunity to analyse concept of such a conflict, establishing very important field for analysis and conclusions.
