ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE IN THE POLICE ON THE THRESHOLD OF THE THIRD MILLENNIUM
Keywords:
Organizational Culture, Organizational Behavior, Organizational Climate, Organizational Structure, Police, Police OrganizationsAbstract
Organizational culture, as the term was established in the framework of the organizational theory and management in the seventies of the previous century. This conception, as well as conceptually close as organizational behavior, organizational climate and organizational structure were developed in the West terminology, from the end thirties of the last century, when the authors attempted to clarify these concepts through theory of dynamics and informal organizations. The reason for late payment explanation of these concepts in our theoreticians and academic circles, we can find in the socialist and war relic present in this region. Special attention, especially after the democratic changes in Serbia, is aimed at the police organization and its work. In this regard, it is necessary to determine the organizational culture, its components, classification, and how it is managed in the police organizations.
