SYSTEM AS THE REFLECTION OF ORDERLINESS OF A CERTAIN PRACTICE IN SOCIETY
Keywords:
system, society, state, science, system managementAbstract
The concept of the system can be determined at the general level. The term system has a Greek origin (systema, systematos) and in general it means composition, whole, aggregate, regularity, harmony, consistency, distribution, organization, connection, etc. For system can be said that it is a set of objects (parts, components) with the relations between them and their attributes (characteristics, properties). Those relations connects system in one unity. Although nature itself represent a system, we separate smaller units for the purpose of solving numerus theoretical and practical problems (sets of objects and phenomena) as independent systems which can be farther divide in subsystems. Mathematical this term can be indicated by the formula: system=units + interaction + structure. Elaboration of this general understanding indicates that the system includes a unique organisation of elements in one whole. In this sense under this term we mean set of elements in which all elements has their own position determined by their function in constant relation with the whole and other elements. In theoretical and conceptual sense system analysis of political life originates from the idea of the general system theory as the broadest theoretical orientation in the study of nature and society. The idea of the system theory in the form of programs is elaborated in the works of biologist Ludwig von Bertalanffy at the beginning of the 20th century, and especially in the early fifties with the emerging question of the unification of science. In that period in USA is established Society for the Advancement of General Systems Research and journal General Systems. In the essence of this efforts for development of general system theory it is the attempt for establishing connection between natural and social sciences.
