PUBLIC RELATION MODEL IN THE PUBLIC SECTOR

In this paper, authors investigate and analyse public relations implementation as communication instrument in the public sector, especially on the local level. The goal is to improve communication between public companies and citizens, in order to satisfy basic needs of citizens and improve the public function performance. Existing and new techniques are to be implemented to achieve goals. The maion goal of this work is to define a notion of public interest and economic interest of a company. The significance of this research is in defining the role and influence of public relations in public sector, with interactive communications and dialogue between a company and targeted public, for benefit of all participants.
